Thick Plaid Pet Mat

I’ve been using some smaller beds in front of my fireplace hearth for my dogs to lounge on. But inevitably, the dogs shift them around and they’re in my way as I need to walk past. Not to mention, they look a mess. When I saw this, I knew it would be perfect – and it does not disappoint.

It fits exactly across the entire width of my brick fireplace hearth: it looks like it was made just for this purpose. It also looks really nice with both the plaid colors (which match my dogs) and the geometric texture. It has rubber nubs on the entire backside, so it stays put on my slick wood floor – even when my dogs are chasing through the house and running over it. Even better, I can easily walk across it as well in stocking feet just like a thick area rug, so it’s not in my way like the mishmash of dogs beds were.

And best of all: it’s doggie approved. Just as soon as I put it down on the floor, one of my two dogs was all over it… claiming his territory (see a couple of photos).

I have a rather expensive fur throw that I put on this couch in the winter and the cats never share!. So I bought this to cover the entire seating area and it is so soft and comfortable on a leather couch in the winter that now it's the people who don't want to share. Buying a smaller one for the loveseat. Again, it is just really much cozier to lay on in the winter than leather. It stays in place, looks good, washes easily. Would prefer a solid color option but this looks fine in my living room.

It’s very thick and fluffy, perfect for dogs to lay on. We use this across our bed or the couch or even on the floor if the dogs needs somewhere to lay down. It not only helps protect your surfaces from dog hair or accidents (we currently have a puppy) but also gives your pets a nice soft and comfortable place to lay on. It has become our dogs favorite place to lay down and nap.

I bought this because my cat loves to sleep at my feet and kneeds my sheets, tearing them apart. The 82 inch version stretches from one side of my king mattress to the other without hanging off the edge. This is important because I put cat scratch tape on the corners of my bed frame and didn't want them to peel off.

This also has a non-slip surface on the bottom so it won't fall off my bed if I get shaky leg syndrome. It stays right in place. And the thickness of the pad prevents my cat's claws from damaging sheets when she makes biscuits.

Now this is how snuggling's supposed to work. It's like a blanket made out of a stuffed animal. Something like that.

The idea that this might be for humans didn't even cross our advanced cat brains. As soon as it hit the bed, we knew this belonged to us kitties. We immediately covered it in fluff & catnip. It's soft enough for dad to fall asleep on if we decide to make room for him.

We picked this up to put on a futon that is slightly shorter than this mat. Our dogs primarily use the futon, so it tends to get messy. The cushion in it is not easily washable, so this acts as both extra padding and protection. Overall we are very happy with this, and we'd order one again. If anything goes wrong, I'll update this review.

This is soft and has a little padding in it. There’s a rubber backing on the underside to keep it in place on my leather couch. It protects my couch from my dog, and looks nice as well. Overall a good product.

I have wanted to order these for some time because what I use to have on my couches were blankets, and even after I would tuck them in best I could they would still slide off. These boasted that they had a backing that would help prevent it from sliding. I was skeptical because I ordered something like that before and they still slid off my leather couch. I decided to take a chance on these, and am so glad that I did. I am so happy with these! What impressed me most was the quality. They are so well made, and the fabric and batting makes them plush and cushy, my animals (I have 3 dogs and 3 cats) love them. I tuck them in slightly, and they do not slide off. I would definitely recommend.

I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, they all like to lay on the couches. My cats leave hair and occasionally their back nails make puncture marks in the couch cushions. I like the way this looks and they think it’s comfy

Super great! Is very plush and soft and it stays in place even when our big pups jump up on the sofa. Best thing I’ve purchased in a long time. Will order another one for a “back up.”
