The material is a lightweight plastic, but the red tab you see in the picture is just made of flimsy cardboard. It would be perfect for a nursery or a nightstand.

It makes for a great bedside light. For a desk, the light is a little too dim. An upgrade to a USB-C charging connection would make it even better.
